Day 1: Arrival in Tbilisi – City tour in Tbilisi

Arrive Tbilisi airport, after completing your immigrations and collecting your baggage,Meet our representative who will be waiting with a placard of your group name and transfer to the hotel. Check in at hotel. Leave luggage in the hotel luggage room.

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for sighseeing tour of Tbilisi.

This day we explore capital of Georgia. Here myth and history, culture and traditions, diverse nature and hospitable people; all intermingle with one another, inspired poetry, polyphonic songs and elegant dancing. A blend of cultures, a smell of spices, different nations meeting on street corners, different faiths sharing the same courtyards.... This is Tbilisi, the city that has been dominated by traders, warriors, tyrants and dictators in turn. Take a walk around the old town and breathe in the living past. Today Tbilisi is a modern city with well-known museums and theatres, art galleries, churches, Sulphur bathhouses and narrow streets with inner courts.

Sights to visit:
Holy Trinity Cathedral - built with grandiose scope. Its golden dome is practically seen from any point in Tbilisi. Sameba is the highest church in Georgia. Holy Trinity Cathedral is considered one of the main sights of Tbilisi. Metekhi Church of Assumption (13th c.) built by the king Demetre II. Resting upon the top of the hill, the church is a good example of cross-domed Georgian orthodox churches. Monument of the King Vakhtang Gorgasali - founder of Tbilisi, is located on the territory of the church.

Day 2: Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Gori – Uplistsikhe – Tbilisi

Breakfast at the hotel.Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day excursion of Mtskheta, Gori Uplistsikhe.

In the morning we drive to Mtskheta - the ancient capital of Georgia, located at the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers.

Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Jvari, the 6th century cross-shaped monastery built on the top of a cliff, overlooking the confluence of the Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. At this place St. Nino, a female evangelist, erected a large wooden cross on the site of a pagan temple; Svetitskhoveli, the fortified cathedral dating from the 11th century. Svetitskhoveli is a sacred place where the Robe of Christ is buried.

Drive to the center of Shida Kartli region - Gori, known as the birthplace of the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Visit Stalin’s Museum in Gori where you can see the house, where Stalin was born and his personal railway carriage.

Visit Uplistsikhe (“Fortress of God”) rock-hewn town (2nd Millennium BC). Uplistsikhe is located on the left bank of Mtkvari River and is notable for unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures and the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. Here you can see ancient wine presses carved in stone.

Day 3: Tbilisi Ananuri – Kazbegi - Tbilisi

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day excursion of ANANURI – KAZBEGI.

Drive along Georgian Military Highway and visit Ananuri Architectural complex-former residence of Dukes of Aragvi region. Complex featuring churches and towers dating back to the XVI-XVII cc. is beautifully overlooking Jinvali reservoir.

Arrive in Kazbegi – a small town with the views of Mt. Kazbek - the seventh highest peak in the Caucasus Mountains. Mt. Kazbek is associated with myth of Prometheus, according to the legend he was chained on the mountain in punishment for having stolen fire from the gods and having given it to mortals. Take the 4WD Jeep INCUDED to the Gergeti Holy Trinity Church located at an elevation of 2170 m under Mt. Kazbegi. (30 Mins drive per way).

Drive back to Tbilisi

Day 4: Morning half day Tbilisi short city tour

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for morning half day National Botanical Garden in Tbilisi. Is a beautiful few centuries old garden in the historical part of Tbilisi. Once during the times of ancient states, this territory belonged to royal gardens. References on this can be found in the manuscripts of travelers dating back to the 17th century. Tbilisi botanical garden has more than 3500 kinds of plants. Its territory of 128 hectares presents both, local and world flora. There are a lot of pavilions, shady alleys, few waterfalls and mounting bridges scattered around the garden for comfort of visitors. It is an ideal spot for walking and cycling. Orangery of plants now is closed and not working.

Free afternoon for shopping at Shopping and entertainment center – East Point with Vehicle.

Day 5: Tbilisi – Yerevan by road

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast transfer to Border to crossover to Armenia.

Arrival in Yerevan from Georgia (Approx. distance -288kms /4 hrs)

Transfer to the hotel. Check in and have one hour rest.

Afternoon City tour - Yerevan sightseeing, including City center, Republic square, State University, City panorama, Mother Armenia Monument, Parliament, President’s Residence, Opera, Sports & Concert Complex, Genocide memorial. Visit to Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view on the city and Mountain Ararat. Cascade is home to Cafes Jan modern art museum, National Academy. This place becomes even more charming in the evenings, when it is full of people, both locals and tourists from all over the world, enjoying the magic and the warmth of the capital.

You will enjoy spending time in one of the cozy open-air cafes surrounded by beautiful sculptures, redolent flowers shining brightly with magic colors. It is also a popular place for open air concerts at summer season. Visit Genocide Memorial.

Evening drop back to  hotel.

Day 6: Yerevan -  Vernissage – Garni – Geghard – Shopping - Yerevan

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day excursion of VERNISSAGE – GARNI – GEGHARD.

Visit Vernissage open air souvenir market.

Drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). Photo stop at Charentc Arc. The temple is Greco-Roman style with characteristic pillars. It stands proudly on arocky ridge with a deep canyon presenting a beautiful view. The temple was a summer residence for Arshakid dynasty. Visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bath-house nearby. Lunch in Hab house in Garni. Canyon of Garni - magnificent and outstanding scene which creates the image of falling crags. It obtained the name "Symphony of Stones" due to its view. The fantastic landscape of Garni canyon shakes the human imagination. Drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in the honour of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000).

Drop to Dalma Garden or Yerevan Mall for shopping.

Evening return to hotel.

Day 7: Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Sevan lake - Yerevan

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day excursion of TSAGHKADZOR – LAKE SEVAN

Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers”) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour around the small town. Opportunity to go up to the mountain peaks by rope way, where you will catch an unforgettable gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back). In winter Tsakhkadzor is a well- known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit Kecharis monastery and after on rope way to Teghenis Mountain.

Drive to Sevan Lake for panoramic view from Sevanavank monastery.

Drive back to Yerevan. Evening drop back to hotel

Day 8: Yerevan – Khor Virap – Areni winery – Noravank - Yerevan

Meet your guide and driver in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day excursion of KHOR VIRAP – ARENI WINERY – NORAVANK

Take the direction to south of Armenia. Drive to Khor Virap monastery. According to legend, St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here in the basement for 13 years for the dissemination of Christianity. The monastery is facing the biblical mountain Ararat with best and nearest view you can ever see.

After the route continuous to Noravank. On the way a brief stop in Areni village for visiting Areni winery and tasting wines from different grapes. Visit to a monastery of 13th century Noravank which is located in the narrow gorge.

Stop for have a lunch. From the monastery there is a great view to the canyon.

Drive back to Yerevan.

Evening return to hotel.
