Option 1: Yerevan City Tour

Then continue to Tsitsernakaberd the memorial dedicated to the victims of genocide after see President house, National Academy and Parliament house.

Option 2: Garni temple – Geghard Monastery


In the morning drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat (Arshakid Dynasty). Photo stop at Charentc Arc with panoramic view to Mount Ararat.The temple is Greco-Roman style with characteristic pillars. It stands proudly on a rocky ridge with a deep canyon presenting a beautiful view. The temple was a summer residence for Arshakid dynasty. Visit to the ruins of Royal Palace and Royal bath-house nearby. Canyon of Garni - magnificent and outstanding scene which creates the image of falling crags.It obtained the name "Symphony of Stones" due to its view. The fantastic landscape of Garni canyon shakes the human imagination. Drive to the unique caved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in the honor of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000). Return to Yerevan.

 

 

Option 3: Tsakhkadzor – Sevan -  Sevanavanq – Yerevan


Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers”) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour in the small town. Opportunity to go up to the mountain peaks by rope way, where you will catch an unforgettable gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back). In winter Tsakhkadzor is a well- known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit Kecharis monastery. Drive to Sevan and visit Sevanavank monastery with panoramic over the pearl of Armenia – Lake Sevan.  Drive back to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan

Option 4: Amberd - Aparan Letters Park – Saghmosavank


Start the tour visiting Amberd Fortress a 7th-century fortress located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft) above sea level, on the slopes of Mount Aragats at the confluence of the Arkashen and Amberd rivers in the province of Aragatsotn, Armenia. The name translates to "fortress in the clouds" in Armenian on the way we will make a top near Aparan for famouse letters park, then we will continue to Saghmosavank a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Saghmosavan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. Like the Hovhannavank monastery which is five kilometers south, Saghmosavank is situated atop the precipitous gorge carved by the Kasagh River. Their silhouettes dominate the adjacent villages and rise sharp against the background of the mountains crowned by Mount Aragats.

 

 

Option 5: Khor Virap – Areni – Noravanq


We will start our trip early in the morning with visiting Khor Virap an Armenian monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia, near the border with Turkey, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of Artashat, Ararat Province. The monastery was host to a theological seminary and was the residence of Armenian Catholicos after Khor virap we will head to Areni village for wine tasting a small stop on the way to Noravank located 122 km from Yerevan in a narrow gorge made by the Amaghu River, near the city of Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. The gorge is known for its tall, sheer, brick-red cliffs, directly across from the monastery. The monastery is best known for its two-storey Surb Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) church, which grants access to the second floor by way of a narrow stone-made staircase jutting out from the face of building.

 

 

Option 6: Etchmiadzin – Zvartnots Temple


Drive to Etchmiadzin located about 18 km west from Yerevan. On the way stop to see the ruins of Zvartnots temple a 7th-century centrally planned aisled tetra conch type Armenian cathedral built by the order of Catholicos Nerses the Builder from 643-652. World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000 after we will Route continuous to Etchmiadzin Cathedral which is the mother church of Armenian Apostolic Church and the residence of the Catholicos of Armenia. This monastery is a big complex with many buildings from different decades. It’s located in Vagharshapat city, 20km far from Yerevan.  Drive back to Yerevan.

 

 

Option 7: Jeep tour to Garni gorge – Garni temple – Geghard monastery


Heading to 1st century AD Garni pagan temple off-road driving via Garni gorge known as Rock Symphony and see natural beautiful cliffs and Azat river. Option 8: Shopping tour


Visit Vernissage (an open-air exhibition-market, where you can find unique examples of art and craft work, traditional carpets, jewelry, old collections of coins and medallions, musical instruments, electronics).After drive to Ararat Brandy factory, presentation of Armenian brandy, degustation of brandy of different ages (included in the price), visit shop market of Armenian famous brandy nearby.Then drive to Gum fruit market, where you can find all Armenian seasonal fruits (apricote, peach, plum, pomegranate) and vegatables, dryfruits etc.After visit one of the biggest shopping Malls of Armenia (Dalma Garden Mall or Yerevan Mall).

 

 

Option 9: Khor Virap - Shaki Waterfall - Tatev Monastery


Take the direction to south of Armenia. Drive to Khor Virap monastery. According to legend, St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here in the basement for 13 years for the dissemination of Christianity.The monastery is facing the biblical mountain Ararat with best and nearest view you can ever see.Then take the route to Shaki Waterfall, which is a deep ravine, the slopes of which are full of caves and rock niches. After continue to Tatev monastery. The last part of the trip to Tatev monasteryis the most breathetaking.The longest ropeway "Wings of Tatev" is a Guiness Book of Records entry.  It is around 6 km. (ropeway ticket 11 USD per pax). Drive back to Yerevan.

 

 

Option 10: Khor Virap - Areni Winery – Jermuk


Take the direction to south of Armenia. Drive to Khor Virap monastery. According to legend, St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here in the basement for 13 years for the dissemination of Christianity. The monastery is facing the biblical mountain Ararat with best and nearest view you can ever see. On the way a brief stop in Areni village for visiting Areni winery and tasting wines from different grapes. After the route continuous to Jermuk city which is a modern and popular spa-resort with a number of parks and recreation zones. Visit waterfall of Jermuk. Drive back to Yerevan.
