Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan. Meet & transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 2: Yerevan City tour – “Megerian Carpets” – Sergei Parajanov Museum
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue Yerevan City tour – Yerevan sightseeing, including City center, Republic square, Yerevan State University, City panorama, “Mother Armenia” Monument, Parliament House, President’s Residence. Visit Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex (Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex). Visit “Megerian Carpets” to explore the world of Megerian rugs and have an interesting tour that will take you through the history of Armenian carpet making and will have a carpet waving master class. Visit to Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view on the city and Mountain Ararat. Cascade is home to Cafesjian Center for the Arts. Visit Sergei Parajanov Museum. Sergei Parajanov was the author of several film-masterpieces which brought him world praise. Parajanov’s contribution to the art of cinema is first and foremost his original poetic film-language, highly valued by his contemporaries. His aesthetic system also includes plastic art, based on the traditions of Armenian, Eastern and European art. The basis of the museum collection constitute 600 works of Parajanov – assemblages, flat and three-dimensional collages, drawings, dolls and film sketches, furniture, own things.

Day 3: Yerevan – Cheese tasting in Mikaelyan Family Farm – Meeting with Beekeeper in Getik Village - Yerevan
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Gegharkunik Province. To this day you will have Cheese tasting tour to Mikayelyan Family Farm. Farm is engaged in livestock breeding, milk production and milk processing, in particular, cheese production. They produce wine-cheese, cognac-cheese and parmesan-type cheeses. During the tour you will taste different cheeses paired with wine. You can also visit the underground cellar, see cheese making process and learn about Armenian cheese making traditions. Continue drive to Getik village. By the efforts of few villagers, Getik had become one of the developing centers of rural tourism in Armenia. It’s one of the few places in Armenia, where anyone can get engaged in preparing traditional Armenian dishes with local villagers, learn traditional crafts, or to take part in the ritual ceremonies. Here you can meet a beekeeper and be introduced about beekeeping process, have a honey tasting and to get a one jar of fresh honey for yourself as well. During your tour you will enjoy lunch made by only fresh and homemade food made by villagers.

Day 4: Yerevan – “Kara Silver” – “In-Art Studio” - Vernissage
Breakfast at the hotel. To this day you will have a shopping day, which will start at first by visiting “Kara Silver”. The art boutique “KARA” is the only specialized salon in Armenia where the author’s silver pieces of art in combination with precious and semi-precious gems, enamel, leather, bone, wood are available. There have been presented the most various trends of jewelry art: classical and avant-garde, eclectic and vintage. You will have an excursion tour in the workshop to get acquainted with the process of making silver jewelry, to meet the jeweler-founder “Kara Silver” and ask any question which will interest you. If you are looking for an interesting activity that can bring creativity to your daily life, intellectual potential and bright colors, In-Art Studio is a unique option for you. Here you can participate in master classes of Art and Craft – regardless of age, such as Pottery, Engraving, Modeling, Painting, Candle and Soap making and also take with you your own made “souvenir”. Then you will spend your shopping time at Vernissage open air market of handicrafts and souvenirs.
