Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan. Meet at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Check in.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Walking city tour around evening Yerevan.
Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Yerevan City tour – “Ararat” or “Noy” Brandy Factory - GUM market – “Tashir” mall - “Megerian” Carpet Museum and Factory



Breakfast at the hotel. Continue Yerevan city tour – main sightseeing in Yerevan, including the city center, Republic Square, State University, city panorama, the monument “Mother of Armenia”, Parliament House, Presidential Residence, Opera and Ballet House, Sports and Concert Complex. Visit to the Memorial Complex and Museum of the Armenian Genocide. Then visit Cascade complex, which is considered the center of modern art in Yerevan, with works of art exhibited throughout the territory: a boulevard and a staircase from the top of which offers a panoramic view of the city and Mount Ararat. The Cafesjian Museum of Contemporary Art is located on the territory of the Cascade. Continue visit “Ararat” or “Noy” brandy factory (one of them), the market of local fresh products GUM, shopping center “Tashir”. Visit to the carpet factory and museum “Megerian”.

Vernissage – Garni temple – Geghard monastery - Yerevan



Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to Vernissage – an open-air market of handmade souvenirs. Continue visit Garni temple – the only pagan temple that currently exists in Armenia. The pagan temple located on the hillside was dedicated to the sun god Mithra. It was built in 77 AD. by the Armenian king Trdat I. The architectural complex of Garni was the main center of the Hellenistic culture of Armenia and the summer residence of the Armenian kings. Then Jeep tour to the canyon of the Azat River. Master class on cooking lavash with a local family.
After driving another 9 kilometers from Garni, you will reach the Geghard Monastery, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Geghard is an incredible ancient Armenian monastery partly carved into the mountain. Although the monastery dates back to the 4th century, the main cathedral was built in 1215, where the sacred spear that pierced the body of Christ was kept.

Day 4: Yerevan – Tsaghkadzor – Sevan – Dilijan



Breakfast at the hotel. A trip to Tsaghkadzor resort town, which means “gorge of flowers”, a magical place among the forested mountains. Short walking city tour around. The opportunity to climb the mountain peaks by ropeway, where you will have an unforgettable panoramic view of this part of the world (climbing to the first level and back). In winter, Tsakhkadzor is a famous ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up to the mountains. In summer it is a pleasant place to spend a day in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit to Kecharis monastery and then reach to the Mount Teghenis by ropeway. Then drive to Lake Sevan and visit Sevanavank monastery. Lunch at a local restaurant.
A trip to Dilijan National Park, located in the upper reaches of the Aghstev River, surrounded by the mountains of the Lesser Caucasus. Visit Haghartsin Monastery, built in 1281 and located in a dense oak forest, in the gorge of a mountain river.
Dinner at a local restaurant with a master class of making “Vana Khash”.

Day 5: Dilijan – Cheese factory - Jermuk



Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to the “Mikayelyan” family cheese factory to get acquainted with the process of making Armenian cheese with cognac. Degustation of various types of cheese. In the continuation of the journey – Jermuk – a mountainous resort town in Vayots Dzor region in southern Armenia. It was considered one of the popular medical tourism destinations in the Soviet Union. Continue jeep tour to the “Hot Springs”.

Day 6: Eghegnadzor – Noravank – Areni – Khor Virap - Yerevan



Breakfast at the hotel. A trip to Yeghegnadzor city, with the opportunity to participate in the process of making the traditional Armenian dessert “Gata”. Continue visit to Noravank Monastery (13-14 centuries), an architectural gem, located among the brick-red rocks, right above a deep gorge. Then a trip to the Areni winery to have a degustation of local wine. Next visit to Khor Virap Monastery. To this day, it is possible to visit the underground chamber where St. Gregory the Illuminator, the first patriarch of Armenia, was imprisoned for 13 years before curing King Trdat III of his illness. This led to the conversion of the king and Armenia to the first officially Christian nation in the world in 301. It is from Khor Virap monastery that a breathtaking closest view of Mount Ararat, the national symbol of Armenia, opens up. Drive back to Yerevan.

Day 7: Yerevan - “Gourmet Dourme” Chocolate factory – Saghmosavank – Amberd – “Tonatsuyts” folk theatre in Byurakan



Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the “Gourmet Dourme” Armenian chocolate factory in the city of Ashtarak. You will get acquainted with the process of making chocolate, with the opportunity to participate in this process. After that, a visit to the monastery of Saghmosavank, located in the village of Saghmosavan, on top of a steep gorge carved by the Kasakh River and built at the beginning of the 13th century by Prince Vache Vachutyan. In the continuation of the trip – the highest mountain of Armenia – Aragats (4090 m), visit to the Amberd fortress built in the X century. Then visit the village Byurakan and the folk theater “Tonatsuyts”. Lunch with national dances and songs. After lunch return to Yerevan.

Day 8: Transfer to airport
Breakfast at the hotel and check out.
