Armenia is a wine lover's paradise. When archaeologists unearthed the world’s oldest winery, estimated to be 6,100 years old, in southern Armenia three years ago, everyone gasped —except for Armenians.

Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan
Arrival in Yerevan International Airport.
Meet & transfer to the hotel for check in.
Evening walking city tour over the city center including Republic Square, Opera House, Northern Avenue and “Cascade” Complex.
Dinner at Wine Republic Restaurant.
Overnight at hotel in Yerevan.
Day 2: Yerevan City Tour – Yerevan Brandy Company- Yerevan Noy Wine Brandy Vodka Factory
Breakfast at the hotel.
Short Yerevan City tour – Yerevan sightseeing, including Yerevan State University, “Mother Armenia” Monument, Parliament House, Residence of the President, Sports & Concert Complex, Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.
Visit to Yerevan Brandy Company, where you can see the oldest Armenian barrels produced and the awards that Ararat has won down through the decades. Visit includes a cognac tasting with fruits and chocolate.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then you will cross the street to Ararat’s local primary competitor, “Noy” Brandy Wine Factory, which not only produces premium cognac, but also has an unrivalled wine cellar. Visit includes degustation of best cognacs and some of their oldest wines with fruits and chocolate.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel in Yerevan
Day 3: Areni Cave –Areni Winery – Tatev Monastery
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Areni village. Visit “Areni-1” Cave, the world’s oldest winery over 6100 years old. Then visit Areni Winery to have a degustation of Armenian wine and lunch.
Continue visit the miraculous Tatev Monastery, which is a formidable monastic complex founded in the 9th century. It’s located on a rocky peninsula more than 100 meters above the Vorotan River, where you can reach by the longest cable-car in the world called “Wings of Tatev” (5,7km).
Drive back to Yerevan.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel in Yerevan.
Day 4: “Armenia” Winery – “Van Ardi” Winery – Saghmosavank – Amberd
Breakfast at the hotel.
We will take our direction out of the capital city, to the Northern part of Armenia. On the way visit “Armenia Winery” and have degustation of different kinds of wine with cheese and meat assortment and fresh or dried fruits.
Then visit Saghmosavank Monastery located at the top of the precipitous gorge, carved by the Kasagh river and built at the beginning of the 13th century.
Visit “Van Ardi” Winery to taste Armenian vintage wines and have lunch.
Continue trip to the highest mountain of Armenia Aragats (4090 m) to visit Amberd Fortress built during the 10th century.
Drive back to Yerevan.
Dinner at a local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel in Yerevan.
Day 5: Echmiadzin – Zvartnots – “Voskeni” Winery
Breakfast at the hotel.
Then drive to Echmiadzin town, the Holy See of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Visit St. Hripsime Church built in the 7th century, which is considered a masterpiece of early medieval Armenian architecture.
Continue to Echmiadzin Mother Cathedral. Historically, it is the focal point of the town of Echmiadzin, and it’s the oldest church in the world. It was originally built by Saint Gregory the Illuminator as a vaulted basilica in 301-303A.D., when Armenia was the only country in the world the state religion of which was Christianity.
Visit the Ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral. Zvartnots, built as Armenia’s main cathedral in 641-661A.D. was to suppress the Echmiadzin Cathedral by its grandeur. The remnants of Zvartnots, even in ruins, are a majestic sight. The Ruins of Zvartnots are listed among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Visit “Voskeni” Winery to taste wine and have lunch.
Drive back to Yerevan.
Dinner at a local restaurant with folklore show.
Overnight at hotel in Yerevan.
Day 6: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out from the hotel.
Transfer to the airport.
