Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan – Yerevan City tour



Arrival in Yerevan. Meet & transfer to the hotel for check in. Continue Yerevan City tour – Yerevan sightseeing, including City center, Republic square, Yerevan State University, City panorama, “Mother Armenia” Monument, Parliament House, President’s Residence, Opera House, Northern Avenue. Visit Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex (Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex). Visit to Cascade complex, which is considered the modern art center of Yerevan, with art pieces displayed throughout the whole area: the boulevard and up the stairs, from top of which you can enjoy the panoramic view on the city and Mountain Ararat. Cascade is home to the Cafesjian modern art museum.

Day 2: Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Yerevan Brandy Wine factory – Megerian Carpets



Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the only remaining pagan temple in Armenia devoted to the God of Sun – Myrth, in Garni, built in 77 AD by King Trdat Photo stop at Charentc Arc. Lunch at a local family house with a presentation of “Lavash” making (armenian national bread). Drive to the unique carved temple St. Geghard (12th -13th cc.), the name of which means “holy spear” in the honor of the long-preserved spear, the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ. It is now exhibited in the museum of Etchmiadzin Cathedral. Geghard Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list (2000). Visit Yerevan Brandy Wine factory to have a degustation of armenian world famous wines and cognac. Visit Megerian Carpet to explore the world of Megerian rugs and an interesting tour that will take you through the history of Armenian carpet making .

Day 3: Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Tsaghkadzor – Dilijan – Yerevan



Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Sevan lake and visit Sevanavank monastery. Drive to Tsaghkadzor (means “gorge of flowers’) town, the magical place of forested mountains. Short walking tour around the small town. Opportunity to go up to the mountain peaks by ropeway, where you will catch an unforgettable gorgeous panoramic view of this part of the world (going up the first level and back). In winter Tsakhkadzor is a well- known ski resort with several levels of ropeways leading up the mountains. In summer it’s a pleasant place to spend the afternoon in nature and enjoy the sun. Visit Kecharis monastery and after on a rope way to Teghenis Mountain. Then drive to Dilijan. Dilijan is a spa resort town surrounded by mountains and forests full of cultural, historical, natural, and religious sites. With an alpine climate, the town is a popular destination in Armenia and offers plenty of activities. It is famous for its amazing surroundings, called the “Armenian Switzerland” by the locals. Visit Haghartsin Monastery surrounded by amazing nature.
