Armenia has become one of the happiest countries in the world

According to the published rating of the happiest countries in the world “World Happiness Report” , Armenia ranked 82nd among the 146 listed countries.

Compared to 2021, our country has risen by 4 points. It is worth noting that among the countries of the former USSR, Lithuania and Estonia have the best indicators – 34th and 36th places. They are followed by Kazakhstan – 40th place, Latvia on the 42nd, Uzbekistan on the 53rd, Moldova on the 62nd, Kyrgyzstan on the 64th, Belarus on the 65th, Turkmenistan on the 78th, Russia on the 80th (60th in 2021), Tajikistan – 83rd, Azerbaijan – 92nd, Ukraine – 98th, Georgia – 105th.

Armenia’s closest neighbors Iran and Turkey ranked 110th and 112th accordingly. Finland tops list of world’s happiest countries for the fifth time in a row. The most unfortunate countries, according to the UNO, are Lebanon and Afghanistan (the last line of the rating).
